- Scotia Square Parkade at Duke Street offers more than 1,700 spaces, accessible parking, lifts and 24-hour vehicle access from Albemarle and Barrington Streets.
- Park Lane Parkade at Spring Garden Road has around 447 spaces, including nine accessible bays. Its location works well for the Public Gardens, Spring Garden Road and Citadel Hill.
- Salter Lot at Lower Water Street provides ample surface parking spaces close to the waterfront and Bishop’s Landing, making it easier to park and explore.

- Highway 102 connects central Halifax with Halifax Stanfield International Airport and meets Highway 103 near Bayers Lake.
- Highway 103 is the principal route southwest towards Peggy’s Cove turn-offs, Mahone Bay and Lunenburg.
- Highway 111 and the harbour bridges connect Halifax with Dartmouth. Traffic can build near the bridge approaches during commuter periods.

The journey covers approximately 40 to 45 kilometres and normally takes around one hour.
- Join Highway 102 from Halifax and connect with Highway 103 west.
- Take Exit 2B for Route 333, or continue to Exit 5 and connect through Tantallon.
- Follow Route 333 and signs for Peggy’s Cove.
- Use designated parking and remain within marked viewing areas near the coastline.
Getting from Halifax to Lunenburg
Lunenburg is approximately 100 kilometres from Halifax, with a typical journey time of around one hour and ten minutes. Here’s how to reach it.
- Take Highway 102 towards the Highway 103 interchange.
- Continue southwest on Highway 103.
- Leave at Exit 11 and follow Route 324 through Blockhouse towards Lunenburg.
- Continue into Old Town and follow local signs for public parking.
